I have had a great afternoon with the fabulous Pippa Kendrick AKA The Intolerant Gourmet at Hill House Farm today. Was great to watch her make beautiful gluten free pastry for a delicious bakewell tart whilst chatting all things food related! It's wonderful to read a recipe book written by someone who actually suffers from food intolerances and understands the difficulties entailed. Pippa's knowledge and skill is so inspiring that I'll be holding a couple of "intolerant gournet" cookery days in the Spring here at the farm, one of which I hope will be for chefs and professional cooks. You'll find her book in most good book shops, Henry at The Book Hive in Norwich stocks it - a great last minute gift for anyone who suffers from food allergies and intolerances.
